The cold hard fact about your personal safety is that you, and only you, are responsible for your
safety.
Who's
life is it anyway? Theirs?
I don't think so.
IT'S A LEGAL FACT that the
police are NOT your personal body guards!
The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled on this very subject numerous times. It's also
the reason why the police are called 'Peace Officers'... they protect the public peace, and are hired to be the guardians
of public safety.
Furthermore,
they are not responsible for any one individual's personal well being, unless it is a prearranged event in which you wish
to hire them to do so. Obviously, if they see someone smacking you on the head with a baseball bat, chances are they will
draw down on this guy to eliminate the threat or to arrest him.
But what about when the cops aren't around?
Your taxes pay for preserving
the structure of the city, county, state, or nation- and the laws therein; the orderly conduct of the inhabitants of
such entities is the social agreement amongst our citizens to live in peace with each other.
It is also a fact that we as citizens, loan our power to
Law Enforcement Agencies to regulate and suppress this behavior. That means, in our Constitutional Republic, you as the citizen
are the progenitor of that power, NOT THE POLICE.
In other words, the police are charged by you, the citizen, to regulate and
suppress anarchy where they detect it.
That
said, the legal premise of self-protection means that you not only have the power, but you are also morally and legally responsible
for your own personal security and safety when the police aren't around!
Moreover, Law Enforcement Officers cannot be held legally
or morally liable simply because you failed to realize the value your own life and to take action(s) to protect yourself against
criminals.
You
cannot abdicate that responsibility, no matter how much you wish it so.
Read that again.
Are you shocked?
Does it make you fearful or angry that you've been duped
into thinking that the cops are going to be at your doorstep at a moment's notice?
You may exclaim, "But
I thought that's what we pay taxes for!"
My friend, once again you've been lied to by power hungry agenda driven politicians
and their willing accomplices in the news media. That school you attended may have convinced you that it is semi-barbarian
and illegal to use a weapon in self-defense.
You may also think that all this seems so crazy and unbelievable.
Some may even insist that
you do not have the right to preserve your own life, even when someone is trying to cause you great bodily harm or death!
Well,
yes, you're right. It's crazy.
But it's not you that's nuts.
It's them.
It's perfectly normal to
to have the instincts of self-preservation.
What's crazy is to conclude that you don't have the God given right to self-preservation!
What's even more insane is for your to be lulled into
thinking someone else is always going to be your security shield.
Try to imagine a maniac with a baseball bat or a tire-iron
that wants to crush your child's skull or use a butcher knife on your spouse; do you think will they stop because you whip
out your cell phone and say you've called the cops?
No, they won't.
Am I getting through to you yet?

Get yourself a weapon, get over to A+ Firearms Training and be a responsible human being. Taking
care of #1 has never gone out of style, regardless of politics. Forget about the idiots that are too lazy to learn to
shoot and handle a weapon properly and criticize you endlessly; they're all wet and you know it. Moreover, if you've made
it this far, then you know you need to do this.
Ladies and
Gentlemen, you've been warned.
